I got a fabulous email from the faboulous folks at Apple to remind me that I’ve not been using the fabulous iTunes Music Store recently… Which, technically, is not true, I’ve just been using my UK based account more than my US one.

So, by way of an incentive, they are offering me a chance to download 13 free songs, and even though I already have a few of them, I jumped on it… It’s quite an eclectic selection they have too.

This is the same deal they offer when you connect a virgin iPod to your mac or pc and it syncs with iTunes. Pretty good idea all in all, so click here if you have a US iTMS account (or can register one) and want 13 free songs.

   3986 songs which equates to roughly 14gb worth of data sitting on my secondary 80gb hard drive called, cryptically enough, “Music”

   Now “bought” is a relative term… That last actual CD I actually bought was Linkin Park & Jay-Z – Collision Course. The last “virtual” CD I bought was U2 – How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb but the last CD I got was Doves – Some Cities, which isn’t available til March 1st…

   Umm… It was on the radio, I can’t even remember what it was or who it was by…

It’s a cold, cold day in North Georgia today as freezing rain and sleet shuts down most of Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.

Yep, it’s a winter wonderland for the most part… And most Georgians have no idea on how to cope with this… I mean, it’s barely a few inches of icey snow, and everything is shutting down, compared to the huge snow storm in Boston last year where life went on pretty much as normal. Crazy…

Oh well, it should return to something resembling normality tomorrow…
