I love how bizarre popup ads are getting, but this one takes the cake, when I saw it I was all like OMGLOLWTFBBQ!!!111
But afterwards I was more like OMGLOLKTHXBYE!!!!!1111oneelevenonehundredeleven!

Tiger Woods wins his second Open Championship, his second major of the year and the 10th of his career. Colin Montgomerie becomes the bridesmaid for a 4th time now, shame as time is running out for him…
I occasionally browse through the cornucopia of stats this place has, I like to see who links to me or who’s stealing images off me or what searches people use to get here… Then I came across this…
It’s that bottom one… I’m not even going to type it as I don’t want to make it remotely searchable, but for those who don’t know Michelle Wie is a 15 year old golfing protoge so I don’t know what sicken me more, the person who seaches for such a thing, or the fact they found their way here…
On a plus side, the one at the second top makes me smile… I’ve pretty much lost contact with Monique, so maye I should try and look her up, see what’s going on and what not. Man, I’m really lazy with communication, phone calls and email especially, does that make me a bad person?
Apparently the reason Gravatars haven’t been showing anywhere is because the domain expired yesterday. Could it be someone was caught napping? I’ve disabled mine in the meantime…
Could Futurama be returning to a TV screen near you? At the San Diego’s Comic-Con International, voice actor Billy West (Fry, Zoidberg, the Professor, and many more voices for many more shows) revealed that a brand-new direct-to-video Futurama movie has been greenlit. [via]
ATLBloggers is a new syndication site dedicated to bloggers both inside and outside the perimeter. Just think of it as the various ramblings of the APWBWGTTD, and if you need to ask what that means, you need not apply… I plan on owning the feed with my prolifically incoherent ramblings.
Dunstan Orchard calls it a day as far as blogging goes. Following on from John Oxton, who called it a day earlier this week also, maybe there is something in that big wide world outdoors afterall…
Today marks the day that Mark O’Sullivan’s fantastic Lussumo Vanilla forum software gets released to the public… So to mark this auspicious event I’ve thrown up my own install for people to join and bitch at people or whatever.
So why not head on over and join, though you have to give a good reason for approval. I’ve already managed to badger a few friends into joining, even though I have no idea what to do with it…
At around 11:45 yesterday morning, we had a nice little power outage, or what I thought would be a little power outage… I waited for around an hour or so before guessing that, after that period of time, the power wouldn’t be back anytime soon. So I packed up a few things onto the bike and went out to see what Sandy Springs has to offer.
I calculated (via Google Earth) that I must have cycled for approximately 16 miles and on my travels I came across something that looked completely out of place in Georgia, and America in general.
A couple of British red phone boxes (a rare breed in Britain also, it must be noted). It just struck me as a kind of odd thing to see in the land of strip malls, especially odd when you consider there was a Tudor-esque building that housed Blockbuster Video behind it… Very odd indeed.

Some office related fun. Simply throw the ball of paper into the trash can, but be wary of the fan, it can ruin things… [via]
Got a question you need answering? Or are you just curious. justcurio.us is an anonymous question and answer system, open to anyone, with one simple rule: to ask a question, you must first answer someone else’s question. Question yields answer yields question. Strangers helping strangers.
How the UK Government staged the London bombings in 10 easy steps. A wild conspiracy theory or something a little closer to the truth? A load of crap most likely…
The first space shuttle mission in more than two years was postponed less than three hours before its scheduled launch when NASA encountered a problem with the external fuel tank’s low-level sensors. No new launch date was immediately set, the shuttle launch window extends until the end of July, after which NASA would have to wait until September.
After 301 days, the NHL and the players union have agreed to a new collective bargain agreement. Good news at last, but can the league recover from the lost season?
This came my way via Robert Scoble (two links in two day, I fear I’m becoming one of those fanboy type people) and is a pretty sweet little deal for folks like me… It’s called PressDisplay and it has a huge repository of daily newspapers from around the world, like I said, perfect from ex-pats like myself who miss the news from back home.
Now I consider it perfect for one reason and one reason alone… It has the Daily Ranger Record available for display. Sweet!
Now my days are complete… I can read the sensationalist front page headline, the quirky story on page 3, all the football news on the back page AND (oh yes, AND!) read Joan Burnie’s man hating agony aunt colum, Just Joan (how the hell in this day and age she gets away with her man hating bile is beyond me). Infact, a quick glance brought me some dramatic news in the comic strip page, Striker has defected from The Sun to the Daily Record, that’s HUGE news to me! When did that happen?
Anyways, I have a free subscription for a week, I’m debating if it’s worth an actual $10 subscription after that or wait and see if BugMeNot has an account…
