I occasionally browse through the cornucopia of stats this place has, I like to see who links to me or who’s stealing images off me or what searches people use to get here… Then I came across this…
It’s that bottom one… I’m not even going to type it as I don’t want to make it remotely searchable, but for those who don’t know Michelle Wie is a 15 year old golfing protoge so I don’t know what sicken me more, the person who seaches for such a thing, or the fact they found their way here…
On a plus side, the one at the second top makes me smile… I’ve pretty much lost contact with Monique, so maye I should try and look her up, see what’s going on and what not. Man, I’m really lazy with communication, phone calls and email especially, does that make me a bad person?

Completely Out of Place
At around 11:45 yesterday morning, we had a nice little power outage, or what I thought would be a little power outage… I waited for around an hour or so before guessing that, after that period of time, the power wouldn’t be back anytime soon. So I packed up a few things onto the bike and went out to see what Sandy Springs has to offer.I calculated (via Google Earth) that I must have cycled for approximately 16 miles and on my travels I came across something that looked completely out of place in Georgia, and America in general.
A couple of British red phone boxes (a rare breed in Britain also, it must be noted). It just struck me as a kind of odd thing to see in the land of strip malls, especially odd when you consider there was a Tudor-esque building that housed Blockbuster Video behind it… Very odd indeed.

PressDisplay
This came my way via Robert Scoble (two links in two day, I fear I’m becoming one of those fanboy type people) and is a pretty sweet little deal for folks like me… It’s called PressDisplay and it has a huge repository of daily newspapers from around the world, like I said, perfect from ex-pats like myself who miss the news from back home.
Now I consider it perfect for one reason and one reason alone… It has the Daily
RangerRecord available for display. Sweet!
Now my days are complete… I can read the sensationalist front page headline, the quirky story on page 3, all the football news on the back page AND (oh yes, AND!) read Joan Burnie’s man hating agony aunt colum, Just Joan (how the hell in this day and age she gets away with her man hating bile is beyond me). Infact, a quick glance brought me some dramatic news in the comic strip page, Striker has defected from The Sun to the Daily Record, that’s HUGE news to me! When did that happen?
Anyways, I have a free subscription for a week, I’m debating if it’s worth an actual $10 subscription after that or wait and see if BugMeNot has an account…
