Someone has gone and hacked the web browser hidden away in the PSP game Wipeout Pure to make it serve as a regular browser. Though it’s probably slower than a 14.4k modem…

Real Christians Don’t Give A Fuck About Terri Schiavo
There… I said it…
What?
Seriously, enough already… I’m tired of hearing/reading about “Terri’s Fight”. If I ever end up in her position, take the tube out and leave it out…
If only her parents were more concerned about feeding her before she collapsed.

Turner Field in High Definition
Today the Atlanta Braves unveil their new center field video screen, not normally a news worthy note, but this time it’s a 71′ by 79′ HDTV that will occupy center field. Unofficially it’s the largest HDTV in the world… Especially since the SkyDome replaced it’s old JumboTron a few months ago.
It’s going to be crazy seeing that “thing” blasting what synapses I have left during a Braves game this season (assuming I can go to any games), I mean, I used to think the old center field video screen was pretty big, but this new monster makes it look like a small portable television in comparison.

Manchester United Call For Champions League Revamp
Manchester United want the format of the Champions League changed to help more big clubs reach the last eight. Looks like another case of Manchester United moaning when things don’t go their way, changing what is already a sham of a competition into an excuse for bigger clubs to suck the revenue dry like vampires. Conveniently it’s the same day they announce their half-yearly profits have gone down 52%…

29 With a Bullet
Apparently, as you can clearly see above, Atlanta has the 29th best skyline in the world according to skyscrapers.com Skyline Rankings.
This listing ranks cities by the visual impact of their skylines. It is drawn entirely from statistics in this website’s database, and reflects only completed high-rise buildings as defined by the Emporis Data Committee (EDC). This calculation does not include TV towers, masts, bridges, or other structures.
About the formula: Each building is assigned points based on its floor count (see the table to the right). The point total for each city is calculated automatically and displayed.
Points per Building
12..19 floors = 1 point
20..29 floors = 5 points
30..39 floors = 25 points
40..49 floors = 50 points
50..59 floors = 100 points
60..69 floors = 200 points
70..79 floors = 300 points
80..89 floors = 400 points
90..99 floors = 500 points
100+ floors = 600 pointsSo Atlanta racks up 2,265 points from 193 buildings to also come in 7th among US cities behind New York, Chicago, Houston, Honolulu, Los Angeles and Dallas…
Take that San Francisco, Philadelphia, Seattle, Miami and (surprisingly) Boston!
Glasgow came in 65th which was also surprising…
Here’s what they say about Atlanta.
Birthplace of Coca-Cola (the most recognized brand name in the world) and the unofficial Capital of the South, Atlanta is one of America’s most prosperous cities. Set in the beautiful red-soiled forests at the lower end of the Appalachian Mountains, Atlanta has kept much of its southern grace even while earning a reputation as a modern and progressive city.
The skyline is truly unique, stretching in a straight line along Peachtree Street from Downtown all the way to the tallest suburban building in the U.S., in Sandy Springs. In fact Atlanta really has several skylines, which may all be seen together in various combinations from different vantage points. One of the best viewpoints is from the romantic Piedmont Park in Midtown. Atlanta’s most famous natural “skyscraper” is Stone Mountain – a giant dome of granite towering over the eastern suburbs.

Barry Bonds To Miss Season?
A dejected Barry Bonds said there’s a chance he might not return this season because of multiple knee surgeries. If he doesn’t make it back this season, he’s fast running out of time to reach the 755 home runs hit by Hank Aaron, he’s currently 52 behind and he hit 45 for the whole of last season…

Teenage Gunman
A US schoolboy has shot dead nine people – seven of them in a rampage through a school that ended when he apparently killed himself. It was the deadliest US school shooting since the Columbine killings in 1999.
