CNN founder Ted Turner attacked US TV network FOX News on Tuesday, labelling it “propaganda” for its stance towards the Bush administration. He likened it to the propaganda from 1930’s Germany. FOX replied with “Ted is understandably bitter having lost his ratings, his network and now his mind – we wish him well.” Harsh!

Online journals and camera phones are a “paedophiles’ dream” which have increased the risk to children, the Scottish Parliament has been warned. “A forensic psychologist spoke about the dangers of online journals, or blogs, and pictures posted directly online. Rachel O’Connell said adults could use weblogs to learn about children.” Talk about spreading fear… [via]

Johnny Carson, host of NBC’s “The Tonight Show” for nearly 30 years, died Sunday of emphysema. The long-time smoker was 79 and had announced in 2002 that he was suffering from the disease.
