You know, it’s been just over 5 years to the day that President Bush declared “Mission Accomplished”
How have you enjoyed the last 5 years of rich and bountiful peace? Just remember that when you’re gassing up on $3.50+ a gallon and prices of bread and milk skyrocket, it’s the rich and bountiful peace you’re paying for. Enjoy it while it lasts!

It’s supply and demand economics dude……the price of crude has doubled in last 12 months if I remember correctly because of demand by emerging economies of China and India. It’s not because of situation in Persian Gulf.
PS…keep lookin for a job

Our gas is still some of the cheapest in the world … sure oil prices are higher but more refineries would also lower the price as well as we have a hard time churning out enough gas to meet demand.
Food prices… blame ethanol subsidies. Our government is paying farmers to not grow grain and whatnot and instead grow ethanol grade corn.
Sure, Bush’s ‘Mission Accomplished’ was premature but it has little to do with your other points.
