Blu-ray Wins Hi-Def War

Following mass defections to Sony’s Blu-ray format, Toshiba is admitting defeat and ceasing all HD-DVD production. There are plenty of reasons Blu-ray won out in the end, but the biggest had to be Sony’s gamble of tying it to the PlayStation 3, which makes it the most popular Hi-Def DVD player on the market right now (and possibly the cheapest).

Right now the only reason I keep my ps3 is the blu-ray player. Otherwise the xbox 360 looks and plays games better.
