Rangers 0 – 0 Barcelona

Rangers produced a terrific, disciplined performance to earn a valuable Champions League point against a wasteful Barcelona at Ibrox. Listening to the game was not a good idea, too many near misses from both sides raised my heart rate to dangerous levels. Still, 7 points from 3 games, and it’s been a surreal 3 months for Scottish football, long may it continue… And hope we don’t get the smack laid down on us at the Nou Camp in a few weeks time

The only real “near miss” was the Henry header that went miles over the bar when he had an open goal. Mind you I think he scored one headed goal playing for Arsenal.
To be honest they were all over us like white on rice, but all there chances were limited to either distance or with defenders in the way. Never once did they get through our back line to have a shot or a one-on-one, whilst we had one or two decent chances against them if only things went for us.
Lets put it this way with 2 or 3 minutes left they had about 20 passes in a row between 2 players at the side of the park near the half-way line as they were settling for a draw. That is a show of respect to be honest – Not bad from possibly one of the better teams in the tournament.

New Pro Evo out on Friday – Harder / better / faster /stronger – Work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger; more than ever hour after our work is never over (oh yeah and) n- n- now th- that don’t kill me can only make me stronger.
