Since the new fall season is in full swing, this year I shall be watching…
Sunday
Nothing, I gave up on Desperate Housewives last year, it went downhill during the second season, and I couldn’t take last year after a few months, by Christmas time it was out of the rotation, deemed never to return.
Monday
Torchwood, 7pm on HDNet. Supernatural spin-off of Doctor Who set in Cardiff. I’m really enjoying it so far…
Heroes, 9pm on NBC. Best show on TV right now. Sure this season is starting out slowly again, but you know it’s gonna be kicking ass soon enough.
Tuesday
House, 9pm on FOX. This year will be interesting now Cameron, Chase and Foreman are out of the mix for the time being, Tuesdays episode introduced their potential replacements, nice to see Kal Penn getting a good role.
Wednesday
Lost, ??? on ABC. On hiatus till February, can’t come soon enough after the last 6 or 7 episodes of last season which totally pulled me back in when my interest was waining slightly. I no longer hate myself for watching this.
Pushing Daisies, 8pm on ABC. This looks to be utterly charming, even Robyn seems to be on board with it after one episode, and she’s never like that. Unique premise with bags of potential.
Private Practice, 9pm on ABC. Started out good (Kate Walsh dancing naked) but now it’s hanging by the proverbial thread, I’m giving this another few weeks to catch my interest. The problem with it is it’s just too much like Grey’s Anatomy, complete with Addison playing the Meredith character and Tim Daly (who, lets face it, is a showkiller on par with Ted McGinley) playing McDreamy.
Thursday
My Name Is Earl, 8pm on NBC. Same as last year, either you get this or you don’t, I really like it, not only is it funny but the characters are great. this year is starting off interesting since Earl is in jail, how long can it last though?
30 Rock, 8:30pm on NBC. One of the funniest shows around right now, this is the complete opposite of last years Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and that’s probably why it’s still on the air… It’s worth watching for Alec Baldwin alone.
Grey’s Anatomy, 9pm on ABC. Like last year, this was edge of your seat stuff towards the end of the last season, it had everything you could want in a medical drama.
Friday
Nothing right now, who knows what might spring up in the future?
Throw in other shows like Ace of Cakes, Mythbusters and what have you and it’s a pretty busy schedule all in all.

Sunday: WHY are you not watching Brothers and Sisters? One of the best shows on TV.
Tuesday: Reaper is awesome. If you have a tivo (which I know you do), you can record it while you watch House. Trust me. It is a great show.
totally with you on Lost. i’m so glad i stuck through the slow middle part of last season — the last 5 or so episodes were great.
Duane, Brothers and Sisters never appealed to me
As for Reapers, I’m actually trying to cut back on the amount of shows I watch… I’ve already dropped Boston Legal from the Tuesday night rotation.
I’m right there with you on Torchwood – and SO happy we at least have that to fill in until Doctor Who’s return. I’m going to assume by now you’ve watched the finale of the latter so I can ask you: How crazy that Captain Jack is the Face of Boe?? Puts a whole new view on that!
If you ever want another 1/2 hour comedy, may I also suggest How I Met Your Mother on Mondays? Great laughs!
