Well, I had my day in court today to answer the charges leveled at me after my slight crash with Robyn’s car last month…. And it pretty much was a full day, Sandy Springs, Inc. could learn a thing or two about queue management from the likes of Disney, it was truly awful…
After all the standing, waiting, overhearing some horror stories (like one woman who has essentially been banished from North Fulton County for 6 months, at least in the old west she woulda got a horse and a gun for her troubles) then shuffling in a slow-ass queue, I walked away with an unblemished record, they go easy on first time offenders apparently, but still $175 poorer, which kinda sucks… To top it off, I got a call from the nearby Honda dealership about the cursed Accord, they reckon $525 (not including tax) should fix it’s recent spate of ills…
But for how long?
Add in the other auto shop run ins and we’ve nearly paid the same amount that we bought it for, and the AC still doesn’t work.

Sorry to hear about your brush with the criminal justice system. If it’s anything like here then it’s a creaky slow process in which truth and justice play second fiddle to economic constraint and theatre. Any way I now have a “crim” for a son …. don’t worry about it it can happen to anyone and nobody got hurt which is the important thing. I see that you’re finding out that a cheap car can be not so cheap after all. Reminds me of the old Hillman Imp. Keep well son … give yiour Gran a ring.
