This *may* be the pre-landing-on-Earth-Megatron. Remember how in the cartoon they were all alien type ships and then they come to Earth and they get converted into more Earthly vehicles.
But I have heard that Megatron will not be a hand-gun. Party foul Mr. Bay, party foul.
… also, Bumble Bee will be a Lamborgini (sp?) rather than a VW Bug.
Pffft… Sideswipe and Sunstreaker were the Lamborghini’s

i dont have a problem with all they are trying to do is make it look well REAL and from some of the pictures ive seen they did a pretty good job with it not the best choice on actors though. Beside that i have no problem with it being only 17 i don’t know that much about the oringinal but i did get toi see alot of the old beast wars. i think they should make a movie about that. that would be f***ing awsome (i did that because i know nothing about this site so yeah). you have to realize the older models look to un detailled im only 13 but ive looked at the 1980 series i can see why you get mad but they had to update the stuff make it look high tech megs looks like a junk yard with a head but it may just be his protoform .

I just can’t get over how stupid all you haters are. You complain over and over about this movie and not one of you have actually seen it. Worst of all you base all this on a few pictures and a few trailers which have assuming the movie will be a waste. It’s unbelieveable how ignorant you can be! Bay is trying to bring a classic tv show to life with realizem that appeals not to just a small group of die hard fans but everyone, and with todays technology why would you not want to go all out and make something that goes above and beyond the 80’s? But it’s quite simple, if you think the movie is going to be crap save yourself a couple of bucks and don’t see it. And if you do see it and still think it sucks, grow up, become a movie director and make your own Transformers movie and find out just how much control you truly get over the style and direction you may want because when it boils down to the raw core it won’t be able what you want it’ll be about what the public will like, the money and what the suits have to say.
Ps as it goes for bumblebee not being a VW, that wasn’t Bay’s doing. He did ask VW if he could use their car but they declined because they didn’t want they’re vehicles being associated with war.
bumblebee’s big thing was the fact that he was small and could go where other autobots couldnt. its not as important that hes not a beetle as it is that he is a camaro. a mini or some other tiny gm car would be better. and as far as the licensing, they didnt need it to put an old VW on the same car lot as the camaro, so they didnt need it to make bumblebee an old bug. they were not content with making him an old bug, so they fucked the whole thing into an abortion. michael bay’s head on a pike sounds fine to me. i hate bionicle tranformers. i am watching the movie, but only a bootlegged version, so i dont contribute any money to this abomination.
Im happy that their finally done a movie just abit guttered they didnt keep true like the X-Men, tick for Optimus but WTF at the wasp? im pretty sure thats beast wars lol an I was hoping to atleast see some of their team bots like the contstructicons or bruticus. An if they gona get optimus right atleast get his enemy right!

wtf i saw the movie it kick’s ass and he hole bumblebee situation was hasbro’s idea and i think it’s a good one cuz the VW would look to much like herbie and the camero looks much MUCH better next time you post hate stuff like this watch the movie 1rst it has helarious lines, great action, a good story line and awsome, kickass state of the art visual effects plus, the characters ar better than ever, my personal fav is Frenzy his helarious!! and you’ll see why megatron looks like he does it’s a picture of course you’l; see all the weird details and stuf but in the movie you just see the bad ass old megatron, and starscreem disapointed me in the pictures but he looks awsome in the movie cuz transformers is a mooving film when you see everyone shooting giant robots and see a lot of stuf blow up it brigns you back to your child hood….good times, good times.
Not to be offensive or anything (mind you, this is my site, I’ll do as I please) but were you even born when Transformers first came out?
i saw the movie…im an o.g. when it comes to transformers…and i was born in the early 80s…transformers and tmnt were the ultimate cartoons as a kid…and some hate on the movie…kooks! so they changed some of the machines the transformers were…v dub bettles arent that cool anyway…i’d rather they be bad ass cars …v dub 0-60 in two weeks…camaro flying down the road…in style too.the movie also sticks to the cartoon style…short scences of dialogue and then action packed …the robots in the cartoon were stylish…and art above all is my life…as far as the movie the used the WHOLE MACHINE not the front and and muffler like on prime in the old days with some wheels thrown about and just fill in the blank arms and legs…you can look at ratchet or prime or bubble bee and see every element of their vehicles…take a look its all there and they look way more advanced than any of those little robots they have now…the movie isnt set in the 80s…how would it look if the transformers looked like one of those little robot dogs they sell all basic with no agilty to speak of? they had to be changed…theyre suppose to be more advance than humans correct? if the movie was set in the 80s then yeah it could alright but you cant just bring them back the same but then its a cheap rip off of the old art…you cant bite style…thats ten times worse than doing it your way and STICKING TO THE ROOTS! a haters job is to hate so hate on! see the movie its sick any TRUE die hard fan would enjoy it and any person thats seen it, die hard or not, would not say otherwise shit my only complaint is there was not one DODGE car or truck in it (dodge loyalist here) but hopefully it will be in the second one…yeah…the second one bitches!
LOL! It’s funny how reading these comments portrays the drop in Americas’ educational system in the 80’s. ^^ The movie was awesome! Aside from watchingi cartoons, I think some of you shouldn’t have dropped out of HS. (Maybe you should try reading too) ^_-
There are very few things that need be said, and I’ll say them…
Megatron should be a gun
Bumblebee should be a bug
Optimus Prime needs a rig and the flamesare, well, corny and I hate them
Where the F is thundercracker and
Starscream is much more important in this series so where the F was he
all that said the movie quality and the changes have nothing to do with one another it is just part of life
Everything you love will be altered or lost in some way……. Get used to it.
umm.. not to be offensive and all…. I stumbled onto this site… truth told.. the detail that is put into this 3d character (megatron) or however you spell it…. is an amazing job, the movie had amazing effects.. and I suggest to get a better hobbie than to complain and whine how the movie turned up… btw.. cartoon seems good if you watch it when you are 5 years old… at an older age if you truly like that peace of **** you got to love how the movie turned out.
