I almost feel like I’m a jinx for the Braves now, cause that’s 3 out of 4 games I’ve went to that they have lost, and the last two have been absolute maulings. Seriously, a combined score of 20 – 6 against the Braves, that’s some bad karma, I’m sure some people have had a lifetime ban for less.
The best way to describe todays game against the Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles would be they kinda fell apart big time in the first and it all went downhill from there, it ended up 12-5 in favour of the Dodgers. We lasted til the start of the 7th inning, it was just a pain to watch. They had a brief resurgence in the 5th, but in the end it was nothing more than a consolation.
The game also gave me a chance to try out our fancy new Sony CyberShot DSC-H5/B that Robyn got me for my upcoming birthday, yes I got it early, she also got her main present early also… I have to say, I really like Sony cameras, all the cameras we’ve had have been Sony CyberShots, but this one is fantastic! The main selling point for me was the zoom, the ones I’ve usually used were 3X optical then a further 3X digital, which made the picture pretty grainy at full zoom, this one has an awesome 12X optical which was just downright perfect for taking pictures at the game today. Even though we were sitting close the the left field foul pole I was still able to get close ups of the pitchers and batters, I’d love to see what it’d be like in our normal seats…
Before I go, here is a sweet panorama taken in the cameras 16:9 shooting mode. Yes, widescreen baby!.
