Brokeback Mountain author Annie Proulx lays down a rant and a half against The Oscars. In a nutshell, she basically calls the 6,000 voting members of The Academy white rich secular retards involved with Scientology, then questions why they didn’t heap praise and throw awards at “her” movie… Sour grapes indeed. I honestly don’t get why she gives a fuck… a) she made tons of money on it, b) it has lauded praise from EVERYWHERE, INCLUDING the Academy (yeah, it won three… including, wait for it… one for the STORY!), and c) weren’t the awards like weeks ago? She is still on that?
Jeez… Annie… I love you and all, but give it a rest. Just buy the damn movie on DVD, and enjoy that it has all those award winning emblems all over it. I know I will!
