AKA: A Day In The Life Of…
I’ve now been living in this country for 2 years (and 1 day) now, and like last year, I thought I’d document this momentus day… This time on my cameraphone.
8am usually equals wakey wakey time as that’s when Robyn’s first (or second, depending on the day) alarm goes off, so when she wakes up I wake up…
Sally, like last year, is usually quick to visit me in the morning…
And so the morning ritual starts… Yes, I look pretty in the morning, don’t I?
Hmmm, what’s this? Could it be the ever elusive version 9.0? You’ll just have to wait and see…
Then it’s time for breakfast, nothing special, just a bowl of Rice Krispies, though this would be the last of them (I forgot to buy a new pack later on)
Now it’s time to catch up on TiVo from the night before… Yes, I’ve said in the past that CSI: Miami is tolerable, but this weeks episode about a blog holding information to a killing and stuff piqued my interest…
Sally likes CSI too apparently…
The real reason Sally hangs around me, feeding time at 12:00…
After lunch I had to run a few errands, like going to Target and the bank, so the iPod was charged up and ready to go…
Rocking out in the elevator…
This is a building site across the road from us, they are building a whole bunch of townhouses right now and (supposedly) a little shopping area will be added later… I also discovered the zoom on my phone sucks ass, so expect a few grainy shots coming up.
More construction around the corner, no one knows what exactly they are doing, but they are building *something* on a tiny plot of land beside Home Depot…
Yet more construction, this time beside the new Super Target off Perimeter Center West
The newly opened Super Target, close enough for me to walk to to pick up some groceries…
Vitamin B-6 and a dozen eggs… Don’t ask…
I invariably pick up a caramel frappacino at the in house Starbucks…
A Channel 2 van parked in front of the Mattress King beside Target…
And my other port of call, the Wachovia on Ashford-Dunwoody
I stopped in at CompUSA on my way back, though they were super pushy when I looked at this iMac (not even an intel one)
Again, this is the townhouses across the road from us…
A couple of classic cars that’s parked in our parking garage…
Since Sally was hogging the limelight this morning, it’s time Felix got some exposure…
Another elevator shot, this time I was heading down to meet Robyn one her way home from work as we were headed to Decatur for the Atlanta Flickr Photography Group meeting
Ahhh, my loving wife…
On the road to Decatur
The AFPG meeting in Chocolatte in Decatur, it started off small but it was about to explode…
I counted around 20 people in the end, a few too many for the confines of this coffee shop…
Brooke after a handstand attempt outside Chocolatte…
We had asked Phillip to do a few product shots for a website we’re doing for one of Robyn’s work colleagues.
My take on the product shot…
Finally we are almost back home…
And that’s it really… there are a few more pictures on the Flickr set, but nothing spectacular.

What is AFPG?
I know many of you pictures well as I work in an office building behind the CompUSA pictured, and have shopped many times at the new Target area (and gotten way too much money from that Wachovia).
It’s the Atlanta Flickr Photography Group
It’s like the Atlanta Flickr Group, but more into the serious photography techniques side of things
yay, brodie t-shirt! Snoogans :)
Yep, you spotted it, even though it’s seen much better days
I really should get a replacement….
