This is just a test of the new Flock Browser which is basically Firefox with some un-needed bells and whistles, like this Blog Editor for starters…
Urgh, I have grown to loathe WYSIWYG editors, and this one pretty much sucks ass.
I dunno, I’m not so sure we need *another* Mozilla based browser, but what do I know
Classic example, here is what the Flock Blog Editor spat out:

Awful, just awful…
Plus I’m not so hot on the interface.
Must everything try to emulate the Mac OSX look?
I tried hard to like it, I really did, but it’s really nothing new or groundbreaking, it’s firmly aimed at people who wet themselves at the mere mention of Web 2.0 so I’m sticking to using Firefox, especially as no existing Firefox plugins will work with it…
Oh and I will say something to the developers… Is it so hard to place a shortcut on the desktop? Really???

I agree completely. The Flock browser is only going to be useful for web2.0 enthusiasts who lack the time/basic skills to tweak Firefox into performing every task that Flock offers (with Firefox performing these tasks better and with more options). The only unique feature I could ever see myself enjoying is the (FEED) button in the URL bar. The ability to “drag and drop” blog is rather pointless. Most bloggers can already post from their email, from a word processor, or from web applications like Writely. Throwing a weak wysywig editor into the mix does not impress me.
Yeah, the feed thing is an OK-ish feature…. But is it really as good as, say, the SAGE plugin for Firefox?
I don’t mean to be down on this browser at all, but I’m sure by this time next year we’ll all be saying “flock??”
I just dont think it has the sustainability and ease of use of Firefox or IE
