The Houston Astros remain a thorn in the Atlanta Braves postseason… Not happy with eliminating them 3-2 last year, they made apparently easy work of the Braves bullpen tonight by gutting them 10-5, a bullpen that for 3 innings couldn’t buy a strike…
In what was predicted to be a low scoring series dominated by pitchers, the Astros wasted no time by scoring in the first, and the Braves were never far behind until what can only be best described as “complete and total capitulation” kicked in and that was that… 5 runs were given up in a horrific 8th inning, most were unearned due to an abundance of walks, now there is a huge game tomorrow, a classic duel too. Roger Clemens vs. John Smoltz. It’s pretty much a must win for the Braves, if they lose this series will be over come Saturday night in Houston…
