A Colorado congressman told a radio show host that the U.S. could “take out” Islamic holy sites if Muslim fundamentalist terrorists attacked the country with nuclear weapons. The congressman later said he was “just throwing out some ideas” and that an “ultimate threat” might have to be met with an “ultimate response.”

He is right. If they bomb cities with nuclear weapons, what other response can we have? What else is there? If they are willing to kill millions of innocent people, saw the heads off of innocent people, you tell me what possible reaction would be suitable to prevent further mass murder? If you are muslim, you have and read a Koran that teaches the killing of people who are not muslim. They will stop at nothing to do so, or at least the radical, scum sucking cowards among them. The only thing they cherish is their precious Mecca. And thier bullshit 72 virgins. Its a cult, and we need original thinkers to fight back (oh, and NO, we can’t “reason” with scum like that). Any ideas? How about promising to destroy their most precious “holy” site? I think its a good idea.
They believe that mecca cannot be destroyed, except by god or perhaps not even by god. Not sure as to what they think can destroy it.
Well, anyway. If the US destroys it, they will probably back down.
No offense here guys, but even threataning to destroy something as sacred and holy as Mecca is one of the biggest mistakes of this war already peppered with mistakes. And if they do do it, I just see the whole thing escalating further to the old biblical holy war levels.

if an Italian citizen (or a Christian Catholic from New Zealand) detonates a nuclear bomb in NY, the US would consider bombing the Vatican (Rome, Italy). good idea.

Hold it, Muslims never attacked the holy places of Christians! Than, instead of attacking their holy sites, attack the way they attack. I am pretty sure that as soon as US Weapons reach to attack Mecca, a World War will start, because the Muslims will not tolerate an action like this.
Just think about, what if the Muslims attacked Jerusalem. Wouldn’t your blood boil!!
Jerusalem is more sacred to Muslims than to Christians or Jews thats why they are fighting for it! Muslims would never destroy Jerusalem # 1 reason? Because that is where one of our most holy sites is;the dome of the rock. Why would we want to destroy something that we are in essence fighting to have access to? Thats like if a Christian Bombed Bethlahem or if the president bombed the white house….its sacred it’s not gonna happen…and if it did then we could safely say that the people who bombed it are not of the Islamic faith. ALLLSOOOO Islam does not promote killing unless they are attacked first which in the case of Iraq….was true. Iraq was attacked by Americans not the other way around. Lastly educate yourself on a religion before you attack it. If you believe everything the media says than you are blind.
