Nope, it’s not. As fast as my laptop on 802.11b, although i did have to set my 802.11g router to ‘mixed’ mode.

HI, so about wipeout pure and its browser. is it as good or similar to the windows exploror browser. what are the differences and can you get a browser without wipeout pure
Alright im here to stop any stupid rumors. I have a psp and a wipe out pure. The internet is fast on it. I evan did a google image search and it opened up the site with no problom. The only things that make it crapy is that you do not have a keyboard to type on; needless to say this makes the proccess of writing tedius and slow. But other than that it is cool to browse from link to link. Also there is no mouse on the screen, you just have to move the d pad and it highlights links and junk like that.

Okay, here’s the lo-down on the web browser. You have to hack WipeOut Pure to access it. Google “PSP Web Browser” and you will find instructions on how to do it. It is actually quite simple. You do not have a mouse, as previosly mentioned, but you can highlight and click links. To type, a digital keyboard pops up, just like on the PSP. Sony has not made any definate announcements on whether or not an Official Web Browser will be made available through a Network Update, but I have a feeling that there is a good chance of the happening.
