So I’ve had a few comments regarding the layout of the new look, so here’s how to get around easily, almost painlessly…
How Do I Comment???
The link to regular post comments is the number located to the right of the title. Simple! If there is the unlikely event that there is no number there, that means I’ve turned comments off for that post so there is nothing you can do about that… Alternatively, you could just click the post title and that will bring up the post with comments below.
The linklog comments link is located in the same position they always were… You don’t have to worry about these being closed, as, by their very nature, they are constantly up for discussion in some way, shape or form.
Though, I’m thinking of moving these around anyways, depending how easy it would be…
How Do I Get Around???
The navigation hasn’t changed either, they still link to the same places and are pretty self explanitory, I would hope… Note: IE users, take a good look at the picture above, that’s how they are supposed to look, IE seemingly can’t handle them, oh well…
OK, I Can Comment, But What’s That Picture Next To My Comment???
That, ladies and gentleman, is my default Gravatar image… Yes, I’ve implemented Gravatar images in the comments, so you can all enjoy blossom when I post, and the image you get when you don’t have one is the old o8 – Meaningless + Shallow Douchebag icon… It’s what used to appear if you were in danger of crossing that line in the forum, each post would be accompanied with that icon and the immortal text:
I am a complete and utter douchebag
Those were the days… Anyways, it’s my default Gravatar image, it should spur you on to creating and uploading your own so it disappears… So there…
