Poor Linus and Sally were taken away to get neutered today, and they looked like they had seen unspeakable horrors when they came back. The pathetic, well more than usual, meow’s was too much… I felt really sorry for them, Sally especially as he was locked in a cage in Adam’s room frantically trying to get out while Pigpen, with whom Sally has built up a somewhat close relationship, kept watch at the door.
Sad but heartwarming at the same time…
When I came back in at 10:30, I found both had been let out their cages, Sally had taken up residence on the lay-z-boy and Erika told me Linus was being a diva through the pain. Oh the tragedy…
Pathetic and sad but heartwarming at the same time…

Ahh yes, I remember when my cat got the old snip. I’ll never forget that look on his face as if to say “Somethings not quite right, but I can’t put my paw on it.”
Of course a day later he was jumping around like a spring lamb as if nothing had happened. :D
Both Sally and Linus have been hanging around with us more and more – all morning I’ve had Linus as a lap-cat, which she previously only did for about 10 minutes before getting “bored”
It hasn’t seemed to bother them too much, but I think Linus blames Sally as she hisses at him whenever they come face to face
They’re good kitties really :)
Yeah, Linus is being a lap-cat for me now too… Poor little thing.
