So Lord of the Rings swept The Oscars last night…
Not much of a surprise, shame Bill Murray, or even Johnny Depp, didn’t win best actor. Though, I’ve not seen “Mystic River” to judge Sean Penn’s performance. Though this is the Academy probably repaying him for the time he lost to Nicolas Cage when he put in a career performance in “Dead Man Walking“.
Other than that, I thought it was a pretty entertaining 4 hours. Gotta love a Billy Crystal hosted awards show anyway.
