For fear of upsetting every nerd/fan who come across this in the minuscule time before they actually see it, I’ll try and keep it as spoiler free as possible.
OMG! Anakin Skywalker is Darth Vader?? Who woulda thunk it???
So I’m literally just back from the midnight showing at the IMAX in the Mall of Georgia and I can only say is WOW!
This is the movie we’ve all been waiting for, the big pay-off where everything you’ve only read is revealed, where all the possible loose ends caused by Episodes I & II are tied up and Anakin descends into the dark side…
Now I’ll say this only once, if you can, see this movie in IMAX, you’ll thank me for it as you can finally see the scope of the movie George Lucas made, it’s awesome… We watched Episode II right before leaving and the special effects in that looked dated after only three years (three loooooong years) but this holds up on the big, big screen… From the battle at the start (where more than a few interesting developments occur) to the showdowns between Anakin and Obi-Wan and Palpatine and Yoda, it’s all crystal clear, and just plain beautiful… And finally we get to see two proper jedis in their prime go at it for a decent amount of time, the scenes with Anakin and Obi-Wan are beautifully choreographed with lightsabers moving all over the place at amazing speed.
As with all the movies, the middle bit did seem to drag on a little longer than it needed, especially with the high action opening and endings, but there had to be a story in there somewhere. Personally I think this was as good as The Empire Strikes Back, but not better, nothing tops Empire in my book… Easily the best of the “Republic” trilogy (for lack of a better description). Plus the best thing is Jar-Jar Binks is seen (twice no less) but never heard! YES!
Simply put, awesome film, though it is pretty dark at times, especially when Order 66 is invoked (you’ll see what I mean), and if you haven’t already seen it (call yourself a fan?), you should go… GO NOW!

There are still some loop-holes which were left open (such as the clones themselves) and why did he have to bring up mediclorians (sp?) again? It was best left “buried” after Episode I
Saying that, it did close a LOT of the other holes created by Episodes I & II, so it’s the most “complete” of the first 3 movies
A good experience, but after the mess that was Episodes I & II, it’s brought some respect back to Lucas in my eyes
Yeah you’re right!
The Jedi never bothered to find out why the clones were started 10 years before.
Though I thought it was excellent (apart from why didn’t Anakin do a Jedi jump way over Obi-wan instead of jumping into him?)
My understanding is that the clone troopers turn into storm troopers who by then are a regular army that take consripts (as does the imperial navy)
There were extremely excellent and the best scenes in the movie “Revenge of the Sith”.
Good originality and great imagination, great story in this movie!
Here’s Photo gallery for Hayden Christensen(Anakin) of this movie. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0159789/photogallery-ss-0
I love Star Wars series the most!
