Remember 2 weeks ago when I said we were thinking of moving to Charlotte, well, this rollercoaster ride goes on and on and on as I had a phone interview on Monday with a Concord, NC. based company… Now I thought it went well and they said they’d be in touch next week if I was moving on in the process.
They called yesterday. Can I come to their office on Friday for a face-to-face interview?

So after much debating, swindling and general nervousness, we’re taking a completely unplanned road trip tonight straight after work… Driving 250 miles after a full day’s work isn’t quite what I had in mind, but hey, better than a poke in the eye right? Also, they gave me 24 hours to complete 3 mock index page designs, and if you take out working and sleeping time it was probably somewhere around 5 hours.
At this rate and if things go well, we could very well be in Carolina far, far, far, faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar sooner than we possibly could imagine. That’s kind of scary actually.
An American woman officially recognised as the world’s oldest person has died at the age of 116. Elizabeth “Lizzy” Bolden died at a nursing home in Memphis, Tennessee. Born in 1890, she married at 19 and was widowed in the 1950s. She suffered a stroke in 2004 and spoke little after that.
