Sure it’s not as popular as, say, St. Patrick’s Day… But where’s my parade and flimsy excuse for public drunkenness?

It is to Scotland what St. Patrick’s Day is to Ireland though without all the parades and public drunkenness, so basically a normal day

St Who’s day is more appropriate. No one ever mentions it here. Mind you Jack McConnel (first minister) wants to make it a public holiday. Good reason for ignoring it I’d say.
