Jamaican Asafa Powell set a new men’s 100m record of 9.77 seconds at the Athens Olympic Stadium. How much lower can this go? I mean, taking less than a second to go 10m is crazy…

    9.77 at this stage of the season. He also got an average start. This guy is gonna run 9.72 at the world championships. This guy defines effortless effort!

    i reckon dat asafa powell will do faster than 9.77 at helsinki like he said he is going to. i reckon 9.71!

    I saw Powell run 9.77 on tv,could you please tell me,what the k/mh was.
    My guess it was something like 36.7k/mh.

    i think that asafa powell is the worlds best sprinter by far, way better than that cocky justin gatlin, i hope powell runs under 9.7 secs in the near future. plus hes fit! he gets my vote for the next olmpics!
