You now have to register at IMDB to access the message boards, even if you only want to read them. Way to kill my joy IMDB, Now I’ll never be able to read the comments of idiots talking smack about my favourite films/actors…

I’m now 27… It seems so like it’s been a lifetime since I turned 21, now I’m a kick in the ass away from 30, talk about a reality check… But I have nothing to complain about.

Well, I’ve had phone calls from my family, a card from the guys here and a few happy birthday threads on message boards, so that’s it for another year, thankfully. Today can get back to being just another day.

Joe Johnson and Steve Nash of the Phoenix SunsIt was a simple task for the Phoenix Suns

Win or go home…

Following on from an NBA best season record of 62-20 and a comfortable enough run in the Playoffs, The Suns came up against the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Finals and hit a wall big time, down 3-0 and facing the prospect of elimination, it was a must win game for Phoenix, and win they did

They were finally were able to kick in the “run-and-gun” offense that’s done them so well this year by almost trebling their fast break point average of the series, Joe Johnson was firing on all cylinders, despite looking like the Phantom of the Opera, Amare Stoudamire outclassed Tim Duncan when it was needed most, including an awesome block with seconds to go, his only block of the game…

Win or go home… Well they are going home, and they’re taking the Spurs with them…

Flickr: Welcome To South CarolinaI’m finally back from my 6½ day stint at Hilton Head Island and it was wonderful… Seriously, when you’re sitting back in high 80° weather, sipping down frozen margaritas while watching the Atlantic Ocean slowly lap it’s way towards the shore, you soon forget ALL your troubles…

And seeing as I’m just back after a long ass drive home (made memorable by a 100 mile+ search for KFC that started south of Macon and ended in South Atlanta… KFC? Try NFC (No Fucking Chicken)) I’ve decided to throw all my pictures up on Flickr in a set so you can browse them at your leisure as a) I couldnt be assed choosing a handful from the 91 pictures I took to post here and b) making my own thumbnails is a total pain in the ass. Hmmm, three mentions of the word ass in one paragraph.

But yeah, great time, great friends, great weather, great drinks and I’m still alive to tell the tale, doesn’t get much better than that. Not a lot really happened, we sat around, biked around the island, played a few rounds of mini golf, drank at a tiki bar on the beach and swam in the ocean. It was never going to be an exciting week (of sorts), just relaxing…

Welcome To South Carolina
