Leeds United Exodus
Just over 3 years ago Leeds United were in the semi-final stages of the UEFA Champions League, chasing the dream as they said at the time…
But that dream cost a lot of money and after failing to qualify for the lucrative Champions League the following year they posted massive debts and a downward spiral began. Big name players such as Rio Ferdinand, Lee Bowyer, Johnathon Woodgate and Harry Kewell were sold off to relieve the debts but things just got worse and worse and having just avoided relegation last season, they struggled to find any kind of form this season as more players were offloaded, and the drop from the Premiership was secured.
And the apparent exodus continues unabaited as first goalkeeper Paul Robinson moves to Tottenham Hotspur for £1.5m, some £1m less than they offered not six months ago, and way below most peoples valuations, and today Alan Smith joins Manchester United for £7m, again way below most peoples valuations.
The price of chasing success…

Alan smith is so f9999 shame i’m only 13 ay lol, omg i wish he was yunger than 25 it’s not fair!! life is crap sumtimes!! oh yh he played amazingly against Chelsea and deserved Man of the Match and should think about being a defender, as he showed his determination to win 100&!! I love Leeds and I know Smithy had to do it because he had no choice, but now we are on a winning strike 3 times in a row. Back to back, Leeds are making their way back up! We will get bak there. Alan Smith is gorjus and I love him but I can’t believe he went to Man U of all of the clubs he could of gone to, he went to Man U, the shittest club and Leeds United Fans HATE Man U. Smithy, made a bad choice.

but he should of gone to another club not man shit so we all h8 him i do now coz he said he wouldn’t go there but now he has i h8 him if it would of being any other club ye ok it was for his England career but the thing is he’s not even getting picked haha :P so if he was to come back to leeds yea come back but i think he will get alot of stick -
